Dr. Abhilasha Srivastava

Dr. Srivastava is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the California State University in Fresno. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the American University in Washington DC. And her areas of interest include political economy, the economics of caste/race, class and gender, feminist theory, as well as development economics. Her research focuses on economic exclusion, and violence, and interrogates relationships between productive and reproductive labor, inequalities of gender, race/caste, and class and economic development. Her research has been published at Population and Development Review, Review of Radical Political Economy and her engaged scholarship appears in popular web-magazines. She is a member of the Dollar & Sense Collective, based in Boston.
